T is for: Trimmings

I absolutely love to decorate. LOVE CANDLES, love holidays, love to cook...all this has trimmings! all the details that go into decorating and cooking is very exciting to me! <3 thankful to have the time and means to enjoy these things!

U is for: USA

I am very thankful to live in our great country. Things may not be going my way in washington now, but I have always been taught to give thanks through the storm. We are very blessed to live here and have freedom of religion and great prosperity!

A Break From My Thankful Posts

My weekend was very nice. I went out with my friends and lil sister friday night! So nice to spend time with them and love em! Saterday, Luke and I went out to Books-A-Million and then to lunch with Seth. Later we showed our house for sale to some friends! Sunday, I went to church and out to eat with family and friends. What a great way to end the weekend!

An Alphabet of Thankfulness: (Q-S)

Q is for: Quiet Time-

I love to read and enjoy nature so quiet time is important to me. I'm thankful that I have the time to read, sit outside on a cool day and enjoy the weather. I love reading the bible, mysteries, ect....I also love to decorate and clean, so quiet time is important for that as well!

R is for: Radio-

I absolutely love music. In my new car, I have XM radio, so i get a large variety of music and nothing is more fun than driving down the road and singing with friends! <3

S is for: Savior!

I'm so thankful to my heavenly father for sending his son to save me from my sins and the sins of the world! FOREVER THANKFUL

P is People-

Haha you're probably wondering why i have p for people, but i am thankful for people. Family, Friends, and Church Family! Some people are very lonely and I'm so thankful to say I'm not. There are days where i wish i had children and lots of siblings but God always has a perfect plan, and one day I will have children and there's a reason why my parents only had me and marlee and i have peace knowing that. So i give thanks everyday for the people in my life!

An Alphabet of Thankfulness: (M-O)

M is for: Marlee, Mom, Mary and Merry Christmas!

Marlee is my little sister. She is my only sibling and i love her dearly. Shes finally coming to the age where we can start doing things together again, because its hard when there are almost 9 years b/w your ages! im thankful to have her in my life as a sister and a friend.

Mom has been such a big part of my life. She got me ready for proms, bday parties, dance recitals ect...I'm so thankful for all the hard work she has done for me and our family, i love her very much! Sadly, I dont have any good pics of me and mom on hand...will add one later.

Mary is my best friend. We knew of each other for YEARS but never called one another up to hang out, well once we finally did we realized we are sooo much alike it is scary at times! we love to spend time together, and our hubbys hang out and we just have a great group of friends who love God and spending good wholesome time together! <3 her! Thankful to have her in my life.

Merry Christmas is one of my favorite things to say because Christmas is my favorite time of year!!!!! Whats not to love?? it's when our savior was born, family comes together, fires are built, great smells are in the air, gifts are given and received, great movies, you usually get to see people you haven't seen in a long time, decor is everywhere, the weather is sooo nice, its just a BEAUTIFUL time of year...thats why im thankful for my favorite time of year!

N is for: New Year

I am thankful for the New Year every year because it is a fresh start, you can set new goals and it ties in with Christmas so of course it is a good time!

O is for: Outdoors

I am so thankful to live in a state that i can enjoy being outdoors. I love Pine Mountain and going to the Lake. I'm not a tomboy but i do love nature, animals and bonefires!

G is for: Gunner-
I have always wanted my own pets, so when i got married i begged for one! Finally after a year and 1/2 being married i finally got Gunner. He is a standard dachshund! i love love love him, he is the sweetest thing and crazyyyy!! <3 i am very thankful for him!

H is for: Hubby-
I have been with luke for a little over 6 years now and we have been through alot, but through all the trials we have made it! i love him dearly and we are so happy we are together and continue to put God first in our lives and we know through him we can do all things! Love you Babe!

I got Jake when he was just a baby! Luke and I bought him and his sister! i have always loved Labs and am so thankful to finally have 2!!!

Job-
im so thankful to have my job. It may not be my ideal job but it pays the bills and allows me to enjoy myself! im grateful for it as well because so many people are without a job right now.

K is for: Katherine-
Katherine is not only my name but also the name of my dear friend. she has been there for me for so long, i love her dearly! i thank God for bringing her into my life all those years ago!

A is for: Albany Bible Church-


I have gone to Albany Bible Church all my life (23 YEARS!) and dearly love everyone that goes there! we are all like family and I am thankful for all that I have learned and will continue to learn there.

B is for: The Bible-

How could you not love what you live by???

C is for: Country-
I thank God every time I pray for this wonderful country I have been so blessed to live in. We americans dont really understand what it is like to need something, we are so blessed as a nation, and spoiled!! I just hope that we are not loosing our roots and what this great nation was built on, FAITH!!!

D is for: Dad & Diane-
Im so thankful to my dad! He has been wonderful and I always know I can go and talk to him anytime I need to. He has worked very hard all his life to provide for our family and has done and excellent job, thanks #1 to his strong spiritual life! love you, dad.

Diane-
Diane is not only a best friend but she is like a sister to me. I thank God for bringing her into my life and for us to have had the chance already to have shared 16years of friendship!!! WOW <3 you girl!

E is for: Easter-
I love Easter, it's when the Lord rose from the dead, it's a time to celebrate church- family- and friends. I always think of Spring when I hear Easter and it's a pretty time of year.

F is for: FALL-
I absolutely love fall. it's my favorite time of year!!! i love the cool weather, coffees, bonfires, smells, leaves, clothes, decor and EVERYTHING about it. LOVE FALL!!

HOMEMADE SOUP!

Ever make spaghetti for just you and the hubby and had TONS left over?? ok, here is a way to use that left over spaghetti and what a great time, ITS COLD OUTSIDE!!!

VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP:

2 cups leftover spaghetti
2 small cans of beef broth
2 cans mixed vegetables
1 can petite diced tomatoes

get a large pot out, mix all the ingredients in and simmer for 30 minutes! i promise it will be the best vegetable beef soup you've ever had and no more wasted leftovers!!
