*Friday's Favorites*

Forgot to post my Friday's Favorites yesterday, WOOPZ! Lyndsie made a good point, we should put our favorite movies/games up, and boy do I have those. My favorite game to play with a group has to be Taboo. I love the rules...having to describe something without saying many common words that give the word away, such as: if you are trying to get your team to say Christmas, your 5 "taboo" words may be Jesus, Santa, presents, tree and family...which when you are trying to get them to guess that word, you would want to use these haha It can be very funny and entertaining!!!



One of my favorite movies is A Walk to Remember! It has the sweetest storyline and makes me cry everytime. I love how the two main characters love one another and how the movie unfolds.

SUPER QUICK AND EASY CHICKEN AND RICE

Ok, yall are going to laugh at me because this is so easy, its funny! Grab one bag of Lipton-Creamy Chicken Rice, one small can of Tison- all white meat chicken breast, and a bag of Birds Eye- broccoli florets.

Walmart prices:
rice- $0.97
chicken- $2.59
broccoli- $1.27

All you have to do is follow the rice directions: (add two cups of water, 2 tablespoons of butter or marg, and the contents of the bag in a medium size pot, bring it to a boil then lower heat to a simmer and cover the pot-simmer for 7 minutes), open the can of chicken and use a fork to break the meat apart into streads, stir the meat into the cooked rice and simmer for one minute, and steam broc and butter in the microwave for 3 minutes (you can add it in the rice and chix or serve it separate!) The broccoli can cook in the microwave while you are cooking the rice, so all in all you cook the entire meal in 8 minutes!!!! And it is sooooo good!

Makes 4 servings(just double for 8 servings)! ENJOY!

The Weekend and The Game

This weekend was very nice. Marlee, Diane and Me went to the mall and shopped for a while on friday...It was a little to crouded so we went on the my house. Seth and Luke were finishing a movie so we got online for a while. After Diane and Marlee left; Seth, Luke and I sat up and talked, just about life, until 4 in the morning! It was nice!

Saterday was real nice too. We had to sleep in! When we got up, we went to pick Marlee up and then went to Brunch. We did a little shopping and got our movie times for that night. After we went home and took care of the dogs and changed, we went back out to meet the group. Becca and James were in town, YAY! Our movie had sold out, so we went to dinner first. We sat and laughed until it was time to go...we did make a slight detour to Cinnabon...wow it was good! We proceeded to the theatre and we watched The Book of Eli! it was soooooo good! If you havent seen it, you need to! it was really good! We just went and talked for a while at Brad and Mary's and then went home to bed.

Sunday we went to church and out to lunch with the fam. After that we went home and cleaned house. We went over to Mrs. Karen's and watched the Colts/Jets game! AND THE COLTS WOOOOON!!! WOOO HOOO! GO COLTS! <3 Sadly, after that it was time to head home and prepare for, dare i say it, MONDAY

Friday's Favorite's

Lyndsie came up with a good idea! Blog on Fridays about what your favorite thing from that week was. It may sound silly but mine is super simple...a vanilla hazelnut latte from Elements!!! I love love love coffee and I went there this morning and got one and wooowwww, they are sooo yummy! If you havent tried it, you must! And thats about it...doesnt take much to make me happy, teehee! :)

Is This Week Slow Or What?

This week has gone by so SLOW!! I'm ready to spend the weekend with my hubby and sister! Marlee is coming to stay with me on saterday and the group is goin out that night! Thank you, Lord, it is thursday! ha

IT'S FRIDAY!

Thank goodness it is friday! I have had a stressful work week and I'm ready to kick back tonight and watch a good movie! Hopefully I will get some good pics this weekend and have time to do a new post!

*PRAYER REQUEST*

Please pray for my daddy! He's going into surgery this morning to have a mass on his neck removed. I know surgery can be dangerous, but I know the Lord is watching over him and he will be just fine! Thank you for your prayers!

Last night I got to meet one of my favorite bloggers, Lyndsie! Luke and I sold our computer to her and her husband and had the privilege to talk with them and Daniel's bro, Kevin! I love meeting new people, so it was a real treat, they were so sweet!
